Google Doodle

My doodle is about ending greed. The man fishing for money in the "G" represents man's endless struggle for money. The two gold coins are from a Christmas Carol when Ebenezer Scrooge put the coins over his eyes. The money sign represents money. The candle is also from a Christmas Carol. Finally, the "E" is money on fire.

Make the World a Better Place

To make the world a better place I would find a way to use cold fusion as an energy source.

Strange Fruit

The benefit of this shape is that it is easy to stack on top of each other.

Ad Replication

The one on the left is the original while the one on the right is the replication. The tools I used were the bucket tool, quick selection tool, text tool, lasso tool, polygonal lasso tool, magnetic lasso tool, pen tool, brush tool, the magic wand tool, and the ellipse tool. This ad was challenging at times because I had to fix all the pen tool mistakes I had made and I also spent about half a period trying to make the logo look like the original but that didn't work out as planned so I did what I could.. It also took me a while to get the text as close as possible to the original ,as well as, the facial features.

Pen Tool

My character's name is Safety Torch. He was crafted by the Enchanted Lumberjack in Safetown. He only has one purpose in his life and that is to protect. Some might call him the Phoenix because when his light goes out, he lights himself back up and he is reborn from the charcoal. There is no darkness that can overpower him, no room he can't shed light, no monster he can't keep away. If you have a problem, and no other torch can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire Safety Torch.
The hardest part of the pen tool was having to convert each shape into a layer.

Film Critique

The setting of this movie was at Pink Apartments. Coraline wanted a better life than she already had. One day she found this door and found this perfect world just for her. Later she realized that the mother in the perfect world wants to sew buttons to her eyes so she can kill her. The theme of the film is to be thankful for what you have because it could be worse. You could get buttons sewed into your eyes. This film is a good teaching tool for kids who think their lives are bad. The music was great how it adjusted to the mood of the characters' actions. Character development is being used. Coraline starts out really sad about her life and how it's not fair. And she ends the film with gratefulness and happiness. The strengths of this films was the story line and the theme. The weakness was it may have been a little too scary for little kids.
